Pay Details
The annual base salary range for this position in California is $100,000 to $145,000 per year. The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations.
As an Art Director, you are a hands-on doer who is responsible for conceptual and creative integrity across a variety of projects. This role reports to the Group Creative Director and will be responsible for overseeing the visual aspects of various projects, ensuring they align with our brand identity and meet the highest standards of creativity and innovation. You will collaborate closely with designers, copywriters, and other team members to conceptualize and execute compelling visual solutions across a range of mediums creating holistic 360 campaigns and individual creative executions.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative concepts and designs that promote OCVIBE and its various offerings
- Create designs for various mediums, including print, digital, and environmental graphics
- Collaborate on all aspects of marketing and design from concept through to execution
- Collaborate with other creative professionals including copywriters, designers, content producers and more to create cohesive and engaging campaigns
- Maintain the visual identity of OCVIBE and ensure that all creative output is consistent with brand guidelines
- Work with writers to ensure that copy and visuals work together to tell a compelling story
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained
- Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop creative solutions that meet their objectives
- Stay up to date with design trends and technologies, and share this knowledge with the team
- 6 Years experience working in a creative agency or in-house creative department
- Strong portfolio that showcases a range of design work and conceptual thinking with a variety of styles
- Experience with environmental graphics and/or experiential design is a plus
- Excellent design skills, with the ability to create compelling visuals that effectively communicate ideas and tell a story
- Culturally relevant sensibilities and the ability to use campaign work to tap into cultural truths that resonate with audiences
- Strong understanding of typography and visual hierarchy along with how to break the rules
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Figma,
- Knowledge of current design trends and technologies, as well as strong design aesthetics
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders and team members
- Attention to detail and a love of craft
- Able to oversee specialists such as illustrators, photographers, and more
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
