Stand Up Forklift Operator

**Overview:** We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient loading and unloading of goods, as well as maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. This role is essential for the success of our warehouse operations and requires a high level of proficiency in operating various warehouse equipment. **Duties:** - Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and Hi-Lo truck to move materials and products around the warehouse. - Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers, using clamping trucks as needed. - Organize and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including the storage and retrieval of products. - Ensure the accurate counting and reporting of inventory levels. - Conduct regular safety checks to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and warehouse policies. - Use basic math skills to calculate weights, dimensions, and quantities of materials. - Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed. - Collaborate with other warehouse staff to achieve team goals and objectives. **Qualifications:** - Experience operating a forklift, pallet jack, or Hi-Lo truck. - Strong understanding of warehouse management principles and practices. - Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures. - Ability to lift and move heavy objects using proper lifting techniques. - Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety protocols. - Basic math skills and the ability to calculate weights and dimensions. - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. **Skills:** - Proficiency in operating a forklift, pallet jack, and Hi-Lo truck. - Experience with warehouse management software. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Basic math skills. - Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety protocols. - Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. - Experience with shipping and receiving procedures. - Familiarity with clamp truck operations.
