Job description
· Plan and execute customer service activities which support client’s Wholesale business
· Utilize routing guide and online portal to book shipment pick-up
· Communicate with transportation companies to ensure that collections occur as scheduled
· Update client if their customer delays collecting a shipment
· Responsible for creating and printing labels for products
· Use the appropriate process and procedures in regard to shipment loss/damage investigations and write up of final report
· Keep track and input any invoices in system
Essential Job Duties include but not limited to:
- Support daily customer service functions including: Updating clients on the status of all orders, satisfying external shipping requirements and ensuring all queries are answered timely.
- Ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation and verifying that correct information is entered into WMS
- Scheduling of outbound transportation
- Ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged into WMS and supporting cycle counts and reconciliation activities. Accurate data entry processing for WMS
- Make adjustments for changing priorities caused by rush orders, product availability, shipping delays
- · Recommending measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance
- Support the development of departmental work instructions for all tasks
- Interpreting company policies to workers and enforcing safety regulations
- Support leadership to accomplish goals and arrange a process to complete and communicate goal information to warehouse staff
- Perform any other duties assigned by business management
Job Qualifications and Skills
- Preferred skills and qualifications.
- High school diploma, GED certificate, or evidence of similar skills
- Must have 2-3 years retail compliance & routing experience
- Experience using a Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred and 3PL Central knowledge is desired
- Bi-lingual is desired, but not mandatory
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to think and respond quickly and adjust schedules and operating plans in response to unforeseen needs
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MSWord, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to work well in flexible, dynamic and fast paced E-commerce/Retail warehouse
- Proactive and self-starting team player
- Punctuality and reliability – Hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday-Friday
- Move around the warehouse facility to process inventory counts
- Repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves
