- Scan and index medical documents: Scan paper documents and index them electronically, ensuring that all documents are accurately linked to the correct patient record.
- Ensure data quality and integrity: Verify the accuracy and completeness of patient data and resolve any discrepancies, including demographics, medical history, and treatment information.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient data: Ensure that patient data is protected in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct research for data collection to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain organized records and files, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
- Utilize basic math skills to verify numerical data during entry.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline data management processes.
- Support clerical duties as needed, including filing and organizing documents.
Skills and Qualities
