Job Summary: The Leasing Consultant is responsible for renting apartments, renewing leases, and for the effective fulfillment of all related administrative functions and for effectively serving our customers, residents and clients. The purpose of this position is to help achieve the objective of maintaining budgeted occupancy at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Must be reliable
• Demonstrates product knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the property
• Answers incoming telephone calls
• Maintains waiting lists
• Reviews applications for housing and runs background checks
• Prepares leases for signature
• Conducts applicant interviews, apartment showings and lease signings
• Obtains income and asset documentation to verify program qualification
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum one year experience in leasing, marketing or sales
• Must have experience with Yardi/Onesite
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
• Excellent customer service with a sales-driven attitude
