Occupational Nurse Position
We are seeking a full-time Occupational Nurse to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday. The ideal candidate will be a licensed LPN/RN with the ability to perform the following duties:
- Monitor and facilitate a safe, healthy work environment.
- Care for and triage employee injuries/illnesses, documenting proficiently.
- Act as an active nurse navigator, providing medical information and resources to employees.
- Develop relationships with local medical providers to understand company expectations and philosophies.
- Support successful plant health and safety programs.
- Administer early Return to Work (RTW) programs.
- Administer respiratory protection, audiometric, Blood borne pathogen and additional employee health/safety programs.
- Provide wellness education, including health fairs, weight management programs, blood pressure screenings, cardiac/diabetes screenings, and smoking cessation.
- Assist with FMLA compliance as needed.
- Support EHS in maintaining the OSHA 300 log.
- Maintain confidentiality of medical records and information in accordance with HIPPA laws.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse LPN/RN license in WI.
- 1-2 years Workers' Compensation/Occupational Health experience preferred, but willing to train.
- Ability and willingness to train.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
