We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our small private orthopedic practice. This role involves working primarily at our Tualatin office, and our Gateway location on Mondays and a few additional days throughout the month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review patient charts, room patients, and complete required intake forms.
- Assist with patient exams and procedures as needed.
- Brace Measuring and fitting
- Schedule surgeries
- Blood draws
- Handle diagnostic and surgery authorizations.
- Maintain patient exam rooms in a clean and sanitary condition.
- DME/Supply Management
- Scheduling new patients
- Misc tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Experience with blood draws
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to triage, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
