Senior Dynamics Developer

Overview

The Senior Dynamics Developer is responsible for understanding the business and how to apply/augment the IT application architecture to plan, design, build, and integrate state of the art Dynamics365 solutions for both internal and public-facing applications. 

Responsibilities

Designs scalable and maintainable solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 based on business requirements and best practices.  Develop custom components such as plugins, workflows, custom entities, web resources, and integrations using Microsoft technologies including C#, .NET, JavaScript, and TypeScript.  Customizes and configures Dynamics 365 modules including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service, and Project Service Automation to meet specific business needs.  Plans and executes data migration activities from legacy systems into Dynamics 365 ensuring data integrity and completeness.  Creates and maintains technical documentation including solution architecture, design documents, deployment guides, and user manuals.  Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translates them into technical solutions.  Provides training and support to end-users and junior developers on Dynamics 365 functionality, best practices, and development techniques.  Must stay abreast with the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 features, updates, and industry trends to continuously improve solutions and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 development and customization; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 platform architecture, customization capabilities, and extension points.
• Experience with Azure services including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps.
• Requires a strong understanding and experience with mobile enabled / responsive design web applications, messaging buses, micro services, and relational database architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must have strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule; may be needed after hours and/or weekends.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., MB-400: Microsoft Power Apps Dynamics 365 Developer) are a plus.
