This position is a relief position so the RN will/can work as ED nurse, Floor Nurse, and some Charge Nurse shifts. It requires the nurse to be on their feet and moving at a fast pace. You must pose a positive and friendly attitude and be a team player. The days and assignments may vary depending on the week. Patient triage and the ability to multitask is a must. During the shift, the direction will come from the RN Charge on duty. When working as RN Charge, you will need to be able to act in a professionally competent manner. The person in this position will need to be flexible and able to change direction to fill in where needed at any given time. The ability to multitask and balance working independently but in a team environment is necessary. A compassionate attitude toward patients and the ability to communicate with staff and patients in a friendly, caring and professional manner is expected.
Education/Experience/Minimum Qualifications:
- You must be a Registered Nurse with current WA license.
- One year minimum RN experience required.
- ACLS and CPR, PALS and TEAM or TNCC certification within six months of hire.
