Immediate Opening for Quality Control Housekeeping Inspector for Vacation Rentals

Housekeeping Inspectors Full or Part-time
Vacation rental company in the North Myrtle Beach area with openings for Housekeeping Inspectors, full or part-time, temporary or year round. Inspectors are responsible for ensuring that all properties have been properly cleaned to the highest degree of quality at all times and that all guests are completely satisfied. This position reports directly to the Housekeeping Director and requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments and team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for conducting daily inspections of all areas cleaned by the Housekeeping Department. Records all relevant information on the Housekeeping Inspection Report.
• Distribute to the Room Attendants any items need to complete their tasks.
• Notify the office of any necessary repairs or maintenance work needed in the properties
• Assist in cleaning rooms if housekeepers are running behind to meet check-in deadlines
• Help deliver linens to properties when needed
• Perform property inventories in the off-season

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have prior Housekeeping experience
• Must be a team player
• Must be energetic, outgoing self-motivated and take pride in the quality of your work
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes, stressful environment
• Must be able to occasionally lift and carry linen bags, climb stairs, move furniture etc
• Must be able to read and write basic English in order to complete necessary paperwork.
• Must be able to physically accomplish all housekeeping functions and willing to “pitch-in” as needed.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation and be able to pass a employment background check.
