What are the responsibilities and job description for the OBW Bag Checker position at Ocean Breeze Waterpark?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly check all bags that enter the park and enforce policies and procedures regarding prohibited items
- Enforce policies in an assertive yet friendly and polite manner
- Provide guest and team member screening with the use of security wands to ensure the safety and security of the water park
- Perform opening and closing procedures to operational and cleanliness standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees
- Provide superior guest service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
- Assist customers with all questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark
- Follow park policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership
- Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
- Ability to work in shaded outdoor conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-Protection
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
