Resort Manager
Full time position
We are looking for a results-oriented candidate with excellent interpersonal skills for the position of Resort Manager. This position will be responsible for overseeing the entire portfolio of park operations for our Resort, including managing a team of employees, while acting within the scope of company objectives and policies to accomplish divisional and regional goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Direct report to the Director of Resort Operations
- Management of Housekeeping, Security, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Store, and Activities staff
- Maintains property by investigating and resolving member complaints; enforcing rules of occupancy; inspecting vacant units and completing repairs; planning renovations; coordinating landscaping and snow removal as needed
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Hires, motivates, evaluates and directs staff to ensure adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established goals and objectives.
- Ensures that all employees receive the training, support, guidance, feedback and resources necessary to successfully perform their job
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong management abilities
- Experience in a customer service setting
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, & flexible hours
- Basic computer skills
- Valid MI Driver’s License
- Ability to effectively communicate and delegate work plans and team goals to a staff
- Ability to react calmly and quickly in emergency situations
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in property management
