What are the responsibilities and job description for the Butler-Full Time position at Ocean Casino Resort?
The Butler is responsible for the preparation of suite prior to customer arrival and coordinating room service set-up with any special requirements customers may have.

- Responsible for maintaining accurate property information through daily use of intranet, email and other forms of communication.
- Responsible for providing all food and beverage service to suites designated to have butler service.
- Coordinates all such orders with Room Service Manager on duty to assure proper order is given and received.
- Maintains accurate documentation on facilities needs for luxury suites
- Coordinates with Housekeeping Staff to ensure that rooms are always kept in superior condition and that while occupied, they are serviced at the convenience of the customer
- Maintains butler pantry and equipment to be kept up to the standards of the Front Office as well as the Food and Beverage Department
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned
- Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift and move throughout the hotel
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in and able to provide gourmet service and valet service
- Strong customer service skills required
- The ability to effectively communicate in English
