About the Role
The Shift Manager Restaurants is responsible for directly overseeing the operations of the food and beverage outlet on an assigned shift.
Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall management of restaurant for a particular shift
- Creates and ensures a fresh, positive and exciting environment where sanitation, flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service are paramount
- Accountable for and dedicated to ensuring service commitments, standards/expectations, financial goals, and policies/procedures are consistently upheld
- Builds rapport, commitment, and loyalty with team members and guests
- Ensures that service is carried out in accordance with established policy
- Trains and evaluates all restaurant personnel and enforces food and beverage policies and procedures
- Ensures sanitation compliance throughout restaurants
- Handles customer complaints
- Responsible for meeting profit goals in all the restaurants
- Responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
- Three to five years’ experience in full service restaurant management
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a related field
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand)
