Assistant Camp Director needed at Camp Watchaug, an Ocean Community YMCA summer youth day camp located in Charlestown, RI.

The Assistant Camp Director Responsibilities Include

Assistant Camp Director needed at Camp Watchaug, an Ocean Community YMCA summer youth day camp located in Charlestown, RI.

The Assistant Camp Director Responsibilities Include
- Recruiting, training, and supervising camp staff and volunteers
- Works with Camp Director to develop curriculum and programming.
- Oversees drop off and pick up daily.
- Assists with developing camp trainings.
- Assists with payroll responsibilities
- At least 21 years of age
- Bachelor's degree in physical education or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in physical education or recreation.
- Experience working in a camp setting or similar.
- Possess a warm and friendly personality with the ability to relate to youth of all ages.
- Exhibit maturity and responsibility.
- Be well organized and ability to multi-task.
- Certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid/Emergency Oxygen Administration- American Red Cross preferred- YMCA will train.
