The Ocean Community YMCA is seeking a Chief Development Officer to join the Executive Leadership Team.
Job Overview
The Chief Development Officer (CDO) will lead the Ocean Community YMCA’s fundraising and philanthropic initiatives, building a culture of giving to support and sustain our mission. Reporting to the President / CEO, you will design and execute a comprehensive development strategy, fostering strong relationships with donors, partners, and the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Fundraising Leadership : Develop and execute a robust fundraising strategy, including annual campaigns, major gifts, planned giving, and special events.
- Donor Relations : Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, partners, and sponsors, ensuring an exceptional donor experience.
- Campaign Management : Lead capital campaigns and other large-scale fundraising initiatives to support strategic priorities.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the Board of Directors, senior leadership, and staff to align development efforts with organizational goals.
- Strategic Partnership and Community Engagement : Serve as an ambassador to the communities served by the Ocean Community YMCA, playing a visible role in advancing new and existing relationships that lead to increasing levels of philanthropic support.
