Job Summary
The Project Engineer is responsible for working independently on engineering projects related to planning, design, and submittal review of capital projects.
This position provides support to Authority Operations and Maintenance activities. The successful candidate will report directly to the Engineering Manager.

- Independent work on engineering projects
- Planning, design, bidding, and submittal review of capital projects
- Support for Authority Operations and Maintenance activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field from an accredited four-year college or university
- Ten years (minimum) of relevant professional experience in wastewater engineering
- Graduate degree and/or licensure as a New Jersey Professional Engineer preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with the engineering design process
- High-level project management skills
