A Contract Delivery Service provider for the United States Postal Service is currently seeking applicants for a CONTRACT MAIL CARRIER (1099 POSITION)

THIS IS AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR -1099 POSITION WITH NO BENEFITS
Must be available to start immediately upon hire
- Schedule: up to 6 days per week
- Pay: $26.00/per contract hour (contract hours vary)
- Pay Frequency: Invoices are due by the 1st and 16th day of the month
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have legal documentation to work in the United States
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift and carry 70 lbs.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
- Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city
- Must be able to pass a federal criminal background check and drug test
- Must have a good driving record
- Must reside in close proximity
- Must obtain an EIN via irs.gov
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sorting mail in delivery sequence for active mailboxes
- Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle.
- Delivering mail to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel.
- Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
- Other duties are required.
- PERSONAL VEHICLE USE MAY BE REQUIRED
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
Shift:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
Work Days:
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
