What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-Physician Assistant Medical Assistant position at Ocean Dermatology?
We are a dual specialty office (Dermatology & Otolaryngology) practice looking for a Pre-Physician assistant Medical assistant who will work in the front and back office. This clinical medical experience counts towards the clinical hours required by Physician Assistant programs. The clinical experience and letters of recommendations received during their work tenure provided an invaluable addition to their respective Physician assistant program applications. We would like our candidates to be motivated, flexible and willing to learn. We have Part-time and full time available.
Duties:
-Assisting in daily patient care
-History and physical
-Assisting in office surgeries
-Messaging appropriate personnel
-Maintaining a clean environment
-Sterilizing instruments
-Ability to scan, fax and make copies
- Answer Phones
- Check in patients, Collect Co-pays
- Check Eligibility and Benefits
Requirements:
- Must be available at least 3 full days a week.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
