JOB SUMMARY
The main objective of the Digital Marketing Manager position is to work with the Director of Marketing to develop and support successful strategies aimed at the group, wedding, local Food & Beverage, and leisure market segments with the purpose of achieving revenue goals and growing brand awareness.
DUTIES
- Support the Director of Marketing in developing and managing campaigns directed at growing revenue among the group, wedding/social catering, local Food &Beverage, and leisure markets.
- Strong interpersonal skills for vendor relationships and media visits.
- Participates in weekly strategy meetings with various hotel departments to monitor and improve communications throughout the resort and in all marketing efforts.
- Assists with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and external.
- Reviews production by channel and offers insight and strategies to improve performance.
- Supports in the development of campaign strategies and designs emails for resort initiatives.
- Participates in bi-weekly meetings with our PR team and hospitality branding agency to maximize brand awareness and success of campaign strategies.
- Updates the resort’s website, in-room television system, resort app, and more to maximize guest communication and perfect the user experience.
- Evaluates outcomes, providing on-going analysis and interpretation, including analyzing effectiveness and performance of campaigns.
- Creates content for all social channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TripAdvisor, etc.) and monitors success.
- Provides creative input and develops on-site and off-site collateral for group, wedding/social catering, local Food & Beverage, and leisure campaigns.
- Assists in the execution and entertainment of media stays, media FAM trips, photo/video shoots and other on-site marketing events.
- Research marketing trends and offers insight on how to enhance and implement our own property or in our marketing efforts.
- Manages and maintains the resort’s image and video inventory.
- Contributes to the strategy behind turning Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club from a summer resort into a year-round destination.
- Manages on-line reputation management drafts and responds to social channels, as appropriate.
- Regular weekly travel to Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Able to multitask and communicate properly about priorities.
- Graphic design experience preferred. In depth knowledge of social media required.
