Full Time, Year Round Concierge with Top Notch Guest Service Skills

Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club is pleased to open its search for a full,-time, year-round Concierge. The Concierge serves as an expert at handling a variety of guest needs and achieving guest satisfaction on the highest level. He/she will demonstrate knowledge of the attractions, nightlife, and special services of the surrounding area in order to enhance the stay of our guests. The Concierge will answer questions or make arrangements on items such as transportation, restaurant reservations, places to visit or health and beauty services, cultural events, religious worship, childcare, shopping, florists, and any other needs. This position also is an important contact within the Resort to give directions to meetings and events as well as explain hotel facilities.

· Key Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel features, services and hours of operation; daily house count and expected arrivals/departures; and scheduled group activities
• Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all hotel policies and procedures.
• Ensure that workstation remains neat and organized with all needed supplies.
• Answer telephone within three rings, using established greeting using telephone etiquette.
• Promote positive guest relations to all individuals approaching the concierge desk.
• Accommodate all requests for information in a professional manner.
• Document all guest requests, complaints or problems immediately and notify designated department/personnel for resolving the situation.
• Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments/personnel.
• Document pertinent information in the logbook.
• Exhibit a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with guests and fellow employees
