What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bell/Valet position at Ocean House Collection?
Bellman/Valet
Seeking both full-time and part-time.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Constantly and consistently exhibit Ocean House core values and standards of behavior including adherence to the Forbes 5-Star standards.
- Meet and greet guests warmly.
- Load guest luggage onto bell cart.
- Escort guests to their room while engaging in pleasant conversation, sharing information about the Ocean House amenities, activities, dining and history.
- Provide a thorough room orientation and address any and all guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Park and retrieve guest vehicles as quickly and safely as possible.
- Provide guests with warm farewells and invite them to return.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Provide room deliveries.
- Respond to guest requests.
- Maintain room number and key control and confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Certifications/Licenses:
Must possess and maintain a current and valid driver's license
May not have any vehicle related convictions.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Past Work Experience:
Prior hotel or equivalent guest service experience preferred.
Communication:
Exceptional ability to engage in friendly, polite conversation.
Must speak clearly and understandably.
Very good phone skills.
