Busy small animal veterinary hospital in need of a veterinary technician. Must be outgoing, detail-oriented, have sincere compassion for clients and patients, team oriented, able to maintain full case knowledge and management in a fast-paced work setting. Job responsibilities include: Basic technical skills and patient care, case management and knowledge of pertinent treatment history, organization and communication of client education, entering patient and client information into computer database accurately. Excellent communication skills are a must, as technicians are expected to confidently and articulately answer clients' questions, as well as review potential treatment procedures and costs for patients. Experience in the veterinary/animal field is required.
