OLRV ASSISTANT MANAGER
REPORTS TO: OLRV General Manager
PURPOSE OF POSITION: Responsible for all secretarial and accounting functions of OLRV Center. Also, along with the General Manager, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of OLRV Center office, store and Service Department.
CLASSIFICATION: Hourly - Non-Exempt - Pay Grade 11
DEPARTMENT: Ocean Lakes RV Center
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sends accounts receivable notices and maintains all accounts receivable and accounts payable records for OLRV Center.
- Receives all accounts payable invoices and is responsible to assign to correct General Ledger account, verify amounts to be paid are correct, and forward to corporate accounting office for checks to be cut weekly.
- Receives accounts receivable payments by mail and posts to customer accounts.
- Receives warranty receivable payments by mail and posts to correct accounts.
- Prepares all paperwork and closes sales of all units for the sales department ensuring buyers have provided all necessary signatures, title to trade units, and have either paid in full or have provided for financing.
- Completes and processes all necessary title work both in South Carolina and out of state when required. Travels to DMV, as necessary, to complete title work within time restraints.
- Completes all necessary paperwork including financial contracts and Truth in Lending Disclosures for all financed sales. Ensures that buyers understand and fulfill their agreement with our affiliated finance companies including insurance requirements.
- Ensures that all sold units that are floored are paid off within time constraint dictated by BB&T. Also works with bank representatives, as required, reviewing our deposit documents and current inventory.
- Maintains and balances petty cash submitting receipts to accounting department as necessary.
- Relieves store clerk on days off and for breaks and lunch daily.
- Receives store inventory ensuring that amounts received in system balance to corresponding invoices.
- Maintains office equipment and office supply inventory.
- Responsible for daily deposits of all departments of OLRVC. Balances daily sales for store and service department and sends all deposits to accounting department.
- Prepares monthly SC Sales Tax Return for OLRVC and mails to SC Dept. of Revenue by the 20th of the following month.
- Calculates commissions for Sales staff and submits to Human Resources for payroll by the first Monday of each month.
- Acts as computer system operator providing assistance or training to other teammates as needed. Troubleshoots system problems as much as possible and acts as liaison to system technical support. Responsible for knowing all modules of computer system including parts, service, sales, and accounting departments.
- At month end, completes trailer sales spreadsheets for all units sold and submits to accounting.
- At month end, ensures trailer sales, parts and service departments are closed in system correcting any unresolved issues or unbalanced accounts. Submits Trial Balance and supporting closing documents to accounting making adjustments or corrections as needed.
- Along with the General Manager, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the OLRV Store and Service Department.

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Actively demonstrate, encourage, train and model safety rules and guidelines, in accordance with Company, along with local, state and federal law requirements.
- Investigate loss producing incidents and review prevention recommendations with all employees.
- Actively participate in the safety meetings, if requested by Management, providing and documenting safety training, if applicable, and offering improvement suggestions. Ensure that all safety equipment is used at all times, i.e. safety harness, eye protection, hard hats, gloves, etc.
- Report safety or hazard concerns to management.
- Report any work-related injury to management.
- Take personal responsibility for safety every day.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or further education.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have the ability to work on site for all scheduled hours.
- Positive attitude.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Physical requirements should include frequent lifting up to 30 lbs. pushing, pulling, and bending.
- Physically able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time.
SCHEDULE:
- Ocean Lakes Family Campground operates 7 days each week. Employees must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and/or holidays as well as overtime hours as necessary.
- Available to take calls on a 24-hour rotation basis. Available to take emergency calls for complex issues.
