Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing, current registered Nurse license in the State of New Jersey
- Minimum of two years of critical care experience required
- National Nursing Certification required, CCRN preferred. CCRN exam required within two years of start date.
- BLS required, ACLS required, completion of annual critical care competencies
- Proficiency in targeted critical care skills including management of Rapid Response, STEMI, Code Blue, Code Stroke and Targeted Temperature Management (TTM).
- Exhibits self-direction and use of a broad knowledge base, critical thinking, delegation, problem solving skills and protocol development
- Exceptional verbal and non-verbal, written, and listening skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences and function in a collaborative role.
- Organizational skills – ability to handle multiple complex situations simultaneously
- Computer competency , Word, Excel and protocol development
