Responsible for monitoring boiler and boiler functions in a complex, high-tech boiler plant. Maintains logs/records and performs safety checks on all devices.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Advanced knowledge of boilers, gauges and valves.
- 3-5 years general maintenance experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Previous Boiler Operator experience in a healthcare environment.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Blue Seal or Red Seal or Gold Seal (If incumbent has a Red Seal or a Gold Seal, a Blue Seal is not required.)
- At RMC we can hire individuals with a White Seal or Black Seal or Red Seal or Gold Seal.
- At SOMC and BMC, we must hire people with a Black Seal or Blue Seal or Red Seal or Gold Seal.
- At OUMC and JSUMC, we must hire people with a Blue Seal or Red Seal or Gold Seal.
Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
- Red Seal Operating Engineer License or Gold Seal Operating Engineer License.
