What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Ocean Medical Group and Urgent Care?
Primary and Walk-In office looking to fill a FULL-TIME Medical Assistant/Medical receptionist position.
Must have graduated a school or acquired the tasks of education during a program.
Vital signs, EKG, protimes and glucose, urine dips, assisting doctor with patients, casting, nebulizer treatments, sterilizing procedures, injections, etc. Certified medical assistants are not required.
This job also includes administrative work such as; Front desk, answering phones, scheduling appointments, stocking, scanning, verifying insurance, prior auths, general paperwork etc..
Computer experience a must, EMR knowledge a plus, but will train.
Need to be comfortable with opening and/or closing.
We are looking to hire someone who is a team player with a kind and peppy spirit. Looking for someone who is willing to abide by their tasks and schedule. We are a fast paced office, that needs someone to keep up with the constant flow of patients and testing needs. All tasks for this job can change at anytime.
Salary depending on experience and your interview.
This position is primarily Monday through Friday, some weekend morning/afternoon shifts required.
