Vessel Close-Out Specialist (Boise)
Role Summary
Responsible for the successful execution of the Vessel Closeout process. Efficiently reconcile port pairs with terminals to ensure intended containers load vessels with everything required to be exported. Provides knowledge about nonstandard vessel closeout issues to internal/external parties. Research and respond to routine/non-routine customer issues/problems and make recommendations for solutions to nonstandard issues. Trace containers within rail websites for advancing, rolling, and reducing shipments; submit reports to US Customs. Track and trace shipper documents required for containers to load to intended vessels. Act as liaison with Company and port operations, documentation, and customer service. Incumbent will report directly to the Supervisor; Vessel Close Out, Export Customer Service.

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
