What will you be doing?
We are looking for a hospitality & guest service professional with proven front office management skills to join the team! As the Assistant Guest Services Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Guest services Manager in managing front desk, bell services, and PBX operations to ensure unmatched Service Excellence for our guests.
Responsibilities
Assistant Guest Services Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serves as direct support for the Guest Services Manager
- Planning, organizing, and developing the overall operations of the front desk, loss prevention, bell services, and PBX
- Promptly resolves any guest complaints or issues
- Coordinate activities with other hotel departments in order to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction
- Anticipate the guests needs, change direction quickly and multi-task
- Ensures proper communication within the department
- Other job duties as required by Guest Services Manager, Resort Manager, & General Manager
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
- Proven success in managing a team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend availability
- Proficiency with computers and general office PC applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, databases)
- Must possess solid decision-making skills
- Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
- Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers, and supervisors
- Must have a positive attitude while performing tasks
- Responsibility, reliability, and honesty
- Teamwork and collaboration
