Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote professional development and performance improvement.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for various areas including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
- Verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms
- Conduct regular inspections of premises to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with other departments to address guest needs and maintain service quality.
- Address any guest complaints or concerns regarding cleanliness in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations related to cleaning practices.
- Keep staff / work areas tidy, safe and report any hazard, accident, loss or damage to
- management and observe all requirements under health and safety legislation
- Awareness of guest satisfaction scores and the measure put in place to meet
- department quality targets and objectives
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality or industrial cleaning sectors.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a diverse team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with hotel operations is preferred but not mandatory.
- English oral and written, is required for this position
- Spanish Speaking is a plus but not required
