Job Description:
The Benefits Vendor Coordinator role at OSJL plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Company’s comprehensive associate benefits program. The role is responsible for administering a variety of benefits, including, but not limited to, health, life, disability, dental, 401(k), and wellness programs. This position requires a strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and a thorough understanding of the Company’s benefits policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date associate benefit records.
- Provide outstanding customer service to associates by addressing benefit inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure seamless enrollment processes and efficient claim handling.
- Stay informed of benefit plan changes and communicate updates to associates.
- Contribute to the overall success of the Human Resources team by supporting benefit-related projects and initiatives.
- Evaluate current benefit offerings, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement enhancements to meet associate needs.
- Coordinate open enrollment processes, reconcile financial data, and maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors.
- Conduct quarterly audits of benefits administration and payroll systems and prepare reports to ensure that benefit deductions, elections, and vendor charges are timely and accurately reconciled.
- Manage the successful launch and communication of new benefit programs to field trainers and store associates.
- Maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- 3 or more years of related benefits administration experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google platform (i.e. Sheets, Slides, Docs, Drive, Sites), and Human Resource Information System (“HRIS”) and software.
- Must be able to comprehend English; secondary language is a plus.
- Ability to speak effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of associates.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Work Environment:
- Works primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety and health hazard
potential. - Works in an office environment remaining stationary at a desk, table, or computer workstation for extended periods of time. Frequently uses near vision for reading and computer tasks.

- Some work may be completed outside of the Company locations, with at least three (3) days a week in the Corporate Office.
