Job Description :
The Special Projects Associate role within the Distribution Center (“DC”) at Ocean State Job Lot (“OSJL” or “Company”) will prepare merchandise to create assortments for store distribution as well as balance the mixing and sizing of clothing and other hard-line and soft-line merchandise in a manner consistent with company standards in safety, quality, and productivity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Accurately complete and submit daily productivity sheets.
- Responsible for the accurate sorting, labeling, stacking, packing, wrapping, and counting of merchandise.
- Verify merchandise details such as counts, quantities, and case packs.
- Operate and inspect technology, including but not limited to, pallet jacks.
- Work in compliance with standard operating procedures, audit-control procedures, as well as state and federal requirements.
- Maintain a neat, orderly and clean work area to meet or exceed area safety, quality, and productivity standards.
