Summary
As a Lead Installer at Ocean Tailors, you will play a pivotal role in the installation of custom awnings and outdoor products. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces for our clients, ensuring quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation Leadership: Lead and direct installations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Installation Execution: Install awnings, pergolas, and other outdoor solutions with precision and care, utilizing ladders, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect installations to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to address questions, concerns, and ensure satisfaction with the final product.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during installations.
- Material Handling & Organization: Ensure proper loading, unloading, and organization of materials at the job site and in the shop.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in the awning trade including awning installation, surveys, and specification with a strong understanding of installation techniques and safety protocols.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks effectively, and provide clear instructions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand and power tools, measuring tools, and construction equipment.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during installations.
- Abilities: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of construction materials, and safety regulations.

Pay: $29.50 - $33.50 per hour
