Role Summary
The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for owning the presentation and functionality of the OVCA facility. This is accomplished by keeping a daily eye and focus on established checklists and procedures, identifying areas of concern and disorganization, and organizing the facility staff to address all concerns daily. It also includes providing support to OVCA staff in their facility needs.
Qualifications

- Knowledge of facility management including but not limited to electrical, HVAC, and general handyman knowledge.
- Demonstrate skills in administration, knowledge of modern business practices, as well as leadership including attention to detail, problem-solving, written/verbal communication, organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Associate’s degree or a minimum of three years related experience
- Communicate effectively with peers, employees, students & parents
- Posses an eye for excellence and be passionate about the appearance of our building
Facilities Responsibilities
- Work with the Director of Administration to review monthly budget reports and manage the facility budget
- Supervise facility staff and facility volunteers
- Provide facilities support to OVCA staff
- Complete a daily facility walk-through to identify issues and ensure organization and cleanliness
- Oversee the daily cleaning and opening/closing checklist
- Complete the daily facility report
- Organize maintenance and daily issues within Software provided by OVCA
- Schedule yearly inspections (fire, hood, alarm, etc.)
- Create and maintain a yearly facility calendar (inspections, HVAC maintenance, summer maintenance, etc.)
- Carry out all other duties as assigned by the Director of Administration
- Ensure the facility is ready for [OV]Church gatherings
- Provide support and oversight to the kitchen staff.
- Provide support and assist with setup for events as requested
- Be aware of Federal, State, and Local laws and ordinances concerning the school so the school name does not come under reproach
Kitchen Responsibilities
- Manage & Oversee kitchen staff
- Oversee and ensure daily & weekly cleaning tasks are performed, ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen
- Review and ensure equipment logs are kept up to date, alerting the Director of Operations of issues or problems with said equipment (refrigeration/food bar/dishwasher, etc.) based on Health Department standards.
- Monitor student accounts, acting as liaison to parents when issues occur within the food program
- Oversee and ensure adequate inventory to meet the needs of each week’s menu
- Assisting Cook in creating weekly grocery list, and ordering online with Restaurant Depot
- Manage/create and adjust menu, to include assisting cook in creating new menu items, as necessary and updating, and publishing monthly menus in Meal Manage
- Maintain current FOG certification (food, oils & grease)
- Work with staff in scheduling yearly inspections, and equipment maintenance
- Help coordinate and execute monthly teacher workday lunches.
- Additional duties as assigned, related to school events, such as cooking lunch for teacher work day.
Package/Benefits:
$30,000-$40,000 compensation depends on experience and qualifications
*Paid Holidays Off
Generally scheduled 8:00am-4pm Monday - Friday, some flexibility will be required as some projects will need to be completed outside of school hours.
