Job Summary
Under direction of the certificated / permitted staff and general supervision of the site administrator or designee, assists with planning and implementing a variety of activities to meet the needs and interests of preschool-aged children; provides instruction to individuals and small groups in the preschool classroom setting; monitors and reports student progress regarding behavior and performance.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Certification (Completion of 6 units of Early Learning Education or Child Development coursework from an accredited college, university, or community college)
- Proof of HS Graduation (High school diploma, high school equivalent, GED certificate, high school transcripts, college degree, college transcripts are all accepted as proof of HS graduation.)
Comments and Other Information
Employees who work thirty (30) or more regularly assigned hours per week are eligible for health and welfare benefits and will receive a district contribution toward a cafeteria fringe benefit package.
