Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong building equipment and be proficient in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are operating efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Plus an incentive of $0.85 per hour worked for Direct Care Pay.
Responsibilities
- Complete building, equipment and grounds maintenance in accordance with facility standards.
- Basic plumbing such as fixtures, valves, stems repair/replacement to avoid water damage
- Basic carpentry such as hand rail repair, dresser drawer pull repair
- Window, wall repair
- Call system repair
- Light fixture repair, ballast, wiring, tombstones
- Electrical switch plate, outlet cover repairs, switch replacements
- Replace light bulbs
- Heating/cooling and general wiring repair. preventive maintenance(note if special certifications are required)
- General equipment repair including commercial laundry and kitchen equipment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance roles with a focus on mechanical knowledge and building maintenance
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience with general building and trades.
- Previous experience in customer service is a plus, demonstrating the ability to interact positively with clients and tenants.
- Licensure in, HVAC-R, electrical or plumbing preferred. Extra pay for licensure
- Knowledge in HVAC-R, electrical, plumbing carpentry and building systems, lawn and grounds maintenance.
- Plumbing license or HVAC the pay is $25.80 to $30.84
- Ability to repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing equipment.
