Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at OceanaGold. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising personnel and sub-contractors in the safe and efficient execution of maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance of process plant and site equipment, as directed by the Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor.
- Scope tasks in full to allow the Electrical Maintenance planner to accurately plan the work.
- Assist with plant operation as required.
- Be available for standby as rostered and as required during plant breakdowns and shutdowns.
- Cover leave absences for the Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor.
- Ensure that the workshops and yard and the plant site is left tidy after maintenance work is carried out.
- Coach and mentor the Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians and Trades Assistants.
- Carry out all other duties that may reasonably be required.
Requirements
- First Aid Certificate
- Full Manual Drivers License
- NFPA 70 E Training
- 5-10 years exposure to heavy industries
- Exposure to mining or mineral processing industries is useful
- Exposure to leading and supervision of staff and contractors
