Position Summary
Duties of this position require industrial security oversight of multiple programs within Oceaneering's OTECH Division. The primary goal of this position will be to ensure compliance with Federal Government and Company mandated security policies and procedures in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM). Oversight includes controlled information accountability and overall security of classified program information. Irregular work hours and occasional travel may be required.
Duties & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL
- Performs specialized security functions as the Facility Security Officer to ensure the company's compliance with customer regulations and contract requirements. Major responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to :
o Must have leadership skills and be capable of managing a team of security professionals, prioritizing, and managing dynamic workloads.
o Coordinate and monitor security aspects of the DOD, or other industrial security programs and security activities, ensuring compliance with the Federal Government and company security policies and procedures.
o Act as the primary point of contact for all security issues that affect programs awarded to OTECH.
o Maintain personnel security records and databases. Facilitate security clearance investigations and access termination procedures upon termination of an individual's employment.
o Interface with Government Contracting Officers, Program Managers, CORs, Industrial Security Reps and other FSOs, PSOs, and CSSOs in all facets of the Federal Government Security Processes.
o Provide prime / sub-contractor security support and direction including the development and maintenance of DD254's and security guidance.
o Develop, obtain approval for, and implement security policies, procedures, and documentation specific to the program such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operation Security (OPSEC) Plans, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), Transportation Plans, etc. Interpret and enforce government and company security policies and provide direction and guidance to program personnel.
o Facilitate annual inspections by DCSA and conduct self-inspections. Interface with DCSA representative to correct any problems within the security program.
o Facilitate and administer security education, training, and awareness to include indoctrinations, annual refresher training, debriefings, courier, travel, and event specific briefings.
o Operate and maintain a document control accountability system that includes the transmission, receipt, distribution, storage, and accountability of classified information.
o Process employee adverse action reports when required to include taking the lead on any investigation activities and oversight of the incident response plan.
o Support all other security disciplines for DCSA and special programs to include Physical Security, Information Assurance, Document Control and Visitor Control.
o Provide support to the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) for the corporation.
o Respond to alarm calls / conditions after hours.
