What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at Oceans Healthcare?

Under general supervision, the Financial Analyst will support the Corporate Finance team in evaluating company performance and investments to achieve company strategic objectives. Duties will include analytical support around healthcare forecasting and budgeting, managing and maintaining financial support systems, and assisting in complex financial assessments around volume, reimbursement, operating cost, and financial structure. The Financial Analyst will also perform numerous and varied financial modeling tasks to support growth/M&A related objectives as well as develop supporting documentation around modeling assumptions.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with operations leadership and department heads to review budget/forecasting proposals, revenue performance, and operating capital needs.
- Prepare financial and statistical analyses, graphs, and presentation materials; provide analytical support for the finance and operations teams.
- Partner and support the management team in creating efficiencies through automation and streamlining of processes, serve as a technical resource, and provide support with design, development, implementation, and administration of on-going enhancements to our financial planning tools.
- Research and calculate the impact of operational changes to budget and long term strategic plan.
- Gain a deep understanding of business needs to contribute to prioritization of new projects/enhancements to meet existing and long-term goals of multiple business partners.
- Perform in-depth financial analysis, including financial modeling and pro forma projections, to assess the financial viability and potential risks of growth/M&A opportunities.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and memorandums on growth/M&A projects to communicate findings, recommendations, and financial analysis to management and various stakeholders.
