Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant to the CFO to support our accounting department in managing financial operations for our Real Estate and Property Management business . This role requires a proactive individual with strong computer literacy and exceptional organizational skills. The ideal candidate will support our accounting department by performing various financial and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and assisting in the financial operations of the company.
Duties
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance department.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist with payroll processing and expense reimbursements.
- Process agent closing disbursements as they arise.
- Maintain accurate financial records related to property income and expenses.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Maintain organized files and documentation to support financial operations.
- Provide general clerical support to the CFO and other executive team members as required.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Property management accounting experience is required. Experience with Track Hospitality Software is a plus.
- Single owner multi-entity accounting experience is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, & Excel is required.
- Quickbooks experience is required.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Must work well under pressure with minimal supervision
