Kitchen Manager:
Position Summary
As a Kitchen Manager you will report to the General Manager. You will be responsible for effectively managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. As the Kitchen Manager you will be responsible for maintaining a customer oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement and high performance.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop and maintain an effective internal and external communication system
- Organize and Chair Kitchen Meetings
- Act as Liaison to outside guest and agents
- Maintain inventory control
- Maintain cost control
- Oversee recruitment and staffing
- Conduct Employee Orientations and Development Trainings
- Develop and maintain an Employee Assessment System
- Develop and maintain all policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain a Maintenance Control System
- Develop and maintain an effective Health and Safety System
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State and County regulations
Marginal Job Functions
- Menu Development
- Required to cook on line when needed
- Manage all security issues
- Oversee all purchasing
Education
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- 1 – 3 years experience preferred
