What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Director of Nursing Operations position at Oceanside Center?
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our leadership team at Oceanside Center. As a Weekend Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing center from 5 PM on Friday until 7 AM on Monday.
This role requires a strong leader who can inspire and motivate nursing team members to deliver high-quality patient care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, patient/family satisfaction, and employee engagement. To be successful, you must have a strong understanding of accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements.
You will also be responsible for mentoring, educating, coaching, and disciplining nursing team members, collaborating with physicians and other medical professionals, and serving as a resource to all staff. Additionally, you may provide direct patient care to maintain your skills.
