Position Summary:
The Preschool Music Teacher will teach music and movement activities to preschool-aged children in a Christ-centered environment. The primary focus of this role is to foster a love for music while preparing the children for Christmas performances, which include Christian-based songs that reflect the school’s faith-based values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Music Education: Teach Christian music and movement to preschoolers on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
- Performance Preparation: Select Christian-themed songs for the children, preparing them for two annual Christmas performances (held on two separate days from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
- Music Experience: Create a joyful, worshipful, and age-appropriate music experience for the children.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Preschool Director to ensure music activities align with the school’s faith-based mission.
- Parent Communication: Communicate performance details and student progress with parents as necessary.
- Administrative Duties: Follow health and safety protocols, along with other duties assigned by the Preschool Director.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Proven experience teaching music to preschool-aged children in a Christian context.
- Knowledge of preschool developmental stages and learning styles.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A passion for integrating Christian values into music education.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
