Job Summary
This position plays a crucial role in the success of our team. As a Medical Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate assessments, care plans, and MDS documents are completed as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate and maintain care plans and assessments in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
- Collaborate with management to support activities as assigned.
- Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
- Prior experience with MDS 3.0 is essential, with at least 2 years of experience required.
- Long-term care experience is also mandatory, with a minimum of 2 years of experience necessary.
- Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and motivation are essential for success in this role.
