The Role

We are seeking a qualified Senior Revenue Analyst. This is a new position for our business and if selected you’ll be the designer of success for yourself and our revenue function.

Think strategist meets analytical savant. This role is more than running reports and analyzing data, we need an individual that goes deeper – someone who uses data to identify trends, forecast future revenues, offer recommendations, provide strategic input, and create new revenue streams.

Once that’s done, this role also has the vital responsibility of tracking, maintaining, and updating our royalty fees – ensuring our business process stays transparent, payments are on time, and the products we buy, sell, and create are still relevant to our business.

At a very high level the major job functions of this role include, but are not limited to :

  • Extracting and evaluating data driven from our profits, expenses, sales, tradelines, styles, and customer feedback.
  • Collaborating with other leaders, providing strategic input on what is working, what we can do better, and what we need to do more of.
  • Using data to identify trends and forecast future ones to support the business goal of staying ahead of the industry.
  • Comparing our business revenue against competitors, specifically as it relates to similar products / tradelines.
  • Generating sensible revenue summaries that anyone on the team can absorb and understand, in other words – you’ll make the data speak for itself.
  • Tracking and determining the royalties owed by month and quarter; providing an annual recap to ensure precision in our operation.

Your Experience

  • First, you must love what you do. Our culture is one that embraces the individual’s creativity and plays off their strengths – you’ll be the subject matter expert in this area, if you don’t love it this isn’t the job for you. Other things we’ll look for :
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a revenue analyst or in a similar capacity, ideally for a mid / large-scale retail, hospitality, or manufacturing space.
  • Proficiency with math, numbers, and understanding of finance principles.
  • Knowledge of accounting practices as it relates to AR and AP, money in / money out .
  • Proficient to expert abilities in Excel, Google Sheets, Zoho sheets, Apple Numbers, or a similar spreadsheet software.
  • An interest in, or better, a love of sports and sports apparel. If you have kept reading this far, send our recruiter your favorite sports team via message when you apply.
  • Excellent attention to detail, as an individual and when working with teams.
  • Education – if you have a bachelor’s degree in a related finance, accounting, economics, or statistics field that’s impressive – we’ll take it – but it’s not required.
  • More than proficient understanding of using Revenue Analytics to support existing strategies and to generate new ones for the business.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Starting Salary Range : $80-90,000 annually

    Start Date : March 1
