Assists patients in / out of vehicle in a safe manner. Directs patients / visitors to the appropriate departments and accurately answer patients' questions. Works harmoniously with volunteers and medical personnel to ensure a steady supply of wheelchairs at front doors through the day. Maintains assigned entrances in a clean and orderly manner. Participates in activities for personnel development and required training. Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to : respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.Other related duties as required.
