Job Title : Sterile Processing Technician
Job Specialty : Sterile Processing

Shift : Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM

Experience : 2 years of experience in a trauma 2 hospital required
License : Compact or LA license required
Certifications : CRCST or CSPDT required; AHA certifications are required; AWHONN Intermediate required for L&D RN
Must-Have : COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with medical / religious exemptions only.
Job Description :
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment such as Sterilizer, Sterrad Machine, and Ultrasonic devices (CaviWave, Medisafe, Belimed).
- Participate in orientation held 5 days a week for 8 hours.
- Work on a unit that accepts first-time travelers.
- Compliance with travel requirements, including a distance of over 65 miles from the site address as per driver's license.
- Apply for the Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing if booked with a pending license.
- Provide two Manager / Supervisor references for contract clearance. Contact information must be acquired prior to submission.
- ER nurses must have CPI certification or be able to obtain it before the start.
- Ensure NURSYS Reports are up to date within 4 weeks of the submission date.
- Former permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have a one-year separation before returning as travel staff.
Please prepare for orientation and have all necessary certifications and licenses in hand before commencing work.
