Material handler / Forklift Operator, Night Shift: Immediate Openings.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Operate ride-on powered forklift to move and handle steel pipe in and out of the pipe yard, loading and unloading trucks.
JOB DUTIES:
- Receive instructions on quantities and locations of materials to be moved.
- Mark reports as required.
- Advise supervisor when service and repairs to equipment are needed.
- Manipulate levers and controls to maneuver forklift for unloading and loading materials and for moving materials to and from storage and processing stations.
- Operate forklift at safe speeds and in a safe manner at all times.
- Follow safe work practices.
- Maintain equipment in safe, clean, and orderly condition.
- Perform various other tasks as required for job.
REQUIREMENTS:
Monday through Friday with overtime at 1.5 pay scale. Will be trained while initially working day shift.
Must be dependable, punctual, have reliable transportation, ability to communicate and work efficiently in a positive manner with others. Present a professional attitude when working. Must pass drug screen and background check.
