THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND

We're looking for an empathetic Medical Assistant to join our team to perform clinical and administrative tasks related to the care of our patients. You'll prepare rooms and patients for procedures, assist providers and other staff as needed, and record and update the drugs selected for patient care in the inventory tracking system. If you have a positive attitude and are motivated to provide an excellent experience to anyone that walks through our clinic doors, then we're willing to train you!

OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU

You'll record allergies and drug reactions in patients' electronic health record

You'll apply drops to anesthetize, dilate, or medicate eyes and collect and process specimens for testing

You'll coordinate patient procedures, such as prepping injections

You'll perform first level maintenance on ophthalmic equipment and notify the office manager of any equipment malfunctions

You will be expected to utilize, as appropriate, infection control techniques and universal precautions, and to maintain confidentiality at all times

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 10 pounds.
