Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher to join our team at Eagle Hill Middle School. This probationary, tenure track position will begin September 2025.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Family and Consumer Sciences courses to middle school students and developing engaging lesson plans that promote academic excellence and personal growth.
- Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Cultivate positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Evaluate student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A valid New York State teacher certification in Family and Consumer Sciences.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching or a related field.
